Description
CuNi3Si Nickel Silicon Bronze is a heat treatable Nickel Silicon Bronze alloy. It has very high mechanical strength, good wear and corrosion resistance in both marine and industrial conditions. It is famous for its good anti-friction properties and is extensively used for plunger tips for die casting machines connectors, possessing high electrical and thermal conductivity with very good notch ductility.
Typical Uses for CuNi3Si Nickel Silicon Bronze:
RAILWAY INDUSTRY: valve guides, bearing cages
AEROSPACE INDUSTRY: short-circuit rings, rotors anti-friction rings, insert for plastic injection moulds.
